• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue How can I restore to remote MySql target?

raytracy

Basic Pleskian
I have a site backup from host A which assigned local MySql as db.

I plan to restore whole site to Host B, since there are two mysql on B (one is localhost, one is remote), I would like to choice the remote mysql as restore target.

Unfortunately, the Plesk restore UI seems did not provide any chance to change DB from localhost to remote at restore time? it ask only new ip address, but skip the target db question and start restore job. Of course, it restored into localhost db which is not my prefered target.

I have assigned the remote db as default database both in admin level and service plan on host B, I have verified newly created site in Host B always default to the remote db. But the default value seems not applied for restore job?

How can I do a restore the backup and specify remote db as my target?
