I have a developer client with over 200 domains on my server. They are FTP'ing multiple times daily and they are having traffic slow downs at their end with other traffic that is on their LAN. The have setup Quality of Server (QOS) for port 21 on their router but this isn't really working to the full benefit. I have suggested to them to get another broadband link but before they do i would like to know if a 2nd ftp could be setup. So keep port 21 & add say port 28? That way he can assign a different port from each computer and this ?should? speed things up along with QOS in their router.
So if you know how to setup a 2nd port, or perhaps redirect port 28 to 21 your help would be appreciated
