We are running Plesk Windows v8.6 and encountered some issues with MySQL and MSSQL database setup.
FYI, we have setup MySQL server 5.1 on other physical server and we encountered problem to connect the database server to our Plesk server.
We have open the MySQL port from our Firewall.
Besides, do we require to install PhPMyAdmin as the web interface. If we do, which version will be recommended.

Add on for Plesk DB issue.
We have managed to connect MSSQL database that installed on secondary Plesk DB server from Plesk windows CP. We able to create a new database and user login on that DB server.
However, we encounter problem to view MSSQL database Webadmin from client domains database setting once we pointed the secondary Plesk DB server as default DB server.
