• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How do I force complex CP login and mail passwords?

Hello,

How can I force complex password for both login and email? Preferably I would like to enable this during Plesk installation with a flag of some sort and not post installation so once installed settings are active.

If this cannot be done during install, can it be done post install via command line? I know the mail password/dictionary can be set via "Mail Server Settings" but perhaps I could but a script to run post install to complete these tasks.

Any guidance is very much appreciated.

Thank you for this information.

How about strong passwords for FTP and Plesk admin login. Can we set plesk to require a strong password when information is added from plesk interface?
