  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question How do I get Server Root Access details?

Wealth Migrate

New Pleskian
We have a site that is down (scottpicken.com) and I was advised to upgrade the server. However, once I started the process, I got the following warnings:

Plesk pre-upgrade check
WARNING: The 'Apparmor' security module for the Linux kernel is turned on. Turn the module off before continuing work with Parallels Plesk Panel. Please check http://kb.plesk.com/en/112903 for more details.
WARNING: IP address registered in Plesk is invalid or broken: <IP>
Proceeding with installation or upgrade without resolving the issues that were found can corrupt your data.

I have been requested to provide Support with server root access, but I have no idea where to get those details nor do I know how everything was set up initially?

Please help?

Hey,

You should ask this to the datacenter or server provider who initially setup the server for you.
