How do I install GD

okay how do I install the GD graphics Library.

I looked at the site and followed the ssh "yum install gd-devel" and it looked like it installed okay. but I cant find it anywhere and it does'nt work.

I am a new (fairly) to this, I have a root server with 1and1 with plesk 7.5.4 on fedora core

Try:

#yum install php-gd

It should install GD2
