How do I test restore pleskbackup?

I used 'pleskbackup -all' to create a backup file and I need to test if this restores correctly on a second machine, in case I ever need to use it. I have read the manual and it says to create a map file which contains IP address etc. As my second box has one IP address, which is different than the backed-up machine, how do I make it work?
