The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Very helpful, thanks. I am already aware of the site and have read it diligently. I have also crashed Plesk 7.1.7 doing it. I now have 7.5.3 and hear that it is possible. Does anyone know of a PLESK upgrade path?

The best way is to use ART's yum. It will resolve any and all depenencies for you.

BTW, ART has explanations on the bottom of all his repositories pages. It took me weeks to find documentation long ago, thought this might help.....
