Guys, i´m needing to Upgrade my PHP version from 5.0.4 to 5.2.1 because many off Php scripts aren´t working, what i have to do to upgrade my PHP without problems, Plesk will continuous working fine?? I´m using fedora.

Thanks

Same here (fc4 server from 1and1).

I've managed to install yum, but it reports that there are no updates available.

I need at least PHP 5.0.5

Please help!

Hi. Sounds good. I've added the atomic and plesk-8.1 repositories to yum and tried installing the php51.x86_64 package from the plesk repository.

The install reported success, but after restarting httpd, phpinfo() still reports version 5.0.4

Am I missing something here? I feel I'm really close to nailing this.

Thanks

Yes... restarted httpd, then entire thing... still 5.0.4

I've now done:
yum remove php51.x86_64
yum install php51.x86_64

All went smoothly, but phpinfo() still reports 5.0.4

It appears PHP 5.1.4 is being installed somewhere... but I can't figure out where or how to use it.

using the link http://www.atomicorp.com/channels/atomic-bleeding/fedora/4/x86_64/RPMS/ i download all files, and use the command, yum install *.rpm, show me that 14 files will be updated, i taped Y, but show me an error:

probably better to take this thread up on my site, since I only check in here every other day. Thats a curious problem though, something between the 2 rpms are keeping them from recognizing its an update.
