  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

How does Plesk Panel detect PHP?

Hello,

How does Plesk Panel detect whether or not PHP is installed? I've recently replaced the CentOS stock PHP packages with Zend Server. Alas, Plesk now thinks that PHP is not installed at all, which breaks the Webhosting settings in Plesk. PHP is working fine, though.

Do I need to set a symlink to the non-standard location of the Zend PHP binaries? Or can I manually override the PHP detection by Plesk?

Regards
Ralph
