How many Domains can 1 shared IP sustain?

Hi,

Firstly i don't have any problems on my server. This question is just a bit of preventative maintenance so i don't find myself in strife down the track

Currently 525 websites all use 1 shared IP address on my server. Does anyone know if there is a limitation set (Either by PLESK, or by standard networking limitations) for how many sites can be placed under a shared IP?

As far as I know Apache can handle limited quantity of vhosts. I don't know how much exactly but I think it is depends on several factors. Also it is limited by Plesk license

I currently have an Unlimited Domain PLESK License so that is ok.
I will check Apache and see what information i can find there.
