  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Regular Pleskian
Hey guys, i have a client that is needing to enable the filepro support on PHP, i found this link that says that i need to reconfigure PHP with --enable-filepro option, but how can i do that? where is the sources from PHP to reconfigure?

Please help me,
Thanks,
Guilherme

You can compile PHP with needed options from source. Just detect original options for ./configure with usual phpinfo() for default installed Plesk PHP and use it with additional option '--enable-filepro' for compiling PHP from source.

Hi IgorG,

I also need to recompile PHP to --enable the bcmath library.

I understand how to use phpinfo to get the current configuration, but I'm not sure exactly how to run the compilation.

Could you please explain in a bit more detail the exact command and folder location to recompile php ?

Thanks

CPJ

Just unpack PHP source and go to directory. Then use usual compilation procedure:

./configure --...... (all default options + your additional)
make
make install
