  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

sometime customer asks to change domain name. The only way I see right now tois delete the domain and create the new one, but everyhing is gone of course. Other control panel have this great feature to change the domain name, basically it will change all the config files (apache, dns ...) and directory name, in 1 click the new domain is in operation with exactly the same content.

How to do this with plesk?

Thks!

'RTFM' comes to mind here.

I don't have it up right now - but I believe if you pop into the domain, then go to "Domain Administrator" you can change the domain from there.

If that's not right, then RTFM. = )
