How to change query_cache_size?

Hello, I want to increase the query_cache_size value.
So I made the request :

plesk db;
SET GLOBAL query_cache_size=16777216; (Query OK, 0 rows affected)

If I do SHOW VARIABLES LIKE '%query_cache%'; the new value has been taken into account.

| query_cache_size             | 16777216

However, if I restart mariadb service (service mariadb restart), the value is the old value which returns...

Do you have any idea please?
