  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

How to find mailbox with quota exceeded?

Hello out there!

I´ve a probleme with my Plesk 8.6 Installation.

How can I find mailboxes that have exceeded their mailbox quota.

These accounts are about to explose my mail queue because every SPAM mail with a spoofed (non exising sender) sender generates a NDR (non delivery response) which could not be send as the recipient-mailadress (formaly knows as sender) does not exist.

I only need to identify these mailboxes to inform the appropriate user / admin.

And yes, I already searched the forum and the web... :)

Could someone help me out?

Best regards,

Dennis

Hi.

You can create a full mail accounts report for each domain.

Go to Domains>domain.com>Report>. Click on customize and you will be taken to a new screen. Give a name to your new report, select full mail accounts (in order to keep it report short I would recommend to select None for the other options) and click ok.

That will display a list of all existing mails accounts for that domain with the quota and size for each other.

Surely there must be an easier way to do it, but this is what comes to my mind. Its a little bit laborious if there are lots of domains but you'll get the info your are looking for.

Hope it helped.

Hi Xcalibur,

thanks for your reply. This worked. I found the exceeded mailbox.

Indeed, this is not a very sexy way to solve this probleme. It would be very helpfull to generate these reports on server-level instead of domain-level -> feature-request to any parallels-developer reading this

I wonder if it is possible to configure postfix/qmail also to inform the postmaster apon exceeded mailboxes just like the original-sender get´s his NDR.

Has anyone further ideas?

Dennis
