• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Question How to get Docker Host IP - Password Pusher

BNO

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian v18.0.55_build1800230907.05 os_Ubuntu 20.04
Hey,

i want to install Password Pusher (GitHub - pglombardo/PasswordPusher: An application to securely communicate passwords over the web. Passwords automatically expire after a certain number of views and/or time has passed. Track who, what and when.) (MySQL) via docker hub, that works perfectly.
i created under my domain a new database.
now i need to setup a database url string, no problem i think, but what is the host?
i can't use localhost, because that would be the docker container.
i can't use plesk externe ip adress / hostname, because i don't want to open SQL Port for external use.
there is way how i can get the host-ip (from plesk where the database is) ?
i try 172.17.0.1 but it won't work.
ActiveRecord::ConnectionNotEstablished: Can't connect to server on '172.17.0.1' (115)
