How can i install quota within Suse 9.1?
I know you can do it by yast, but after installation of Plesk
quota's are not working.

Is there an other way?

Thanks,

JD.

yast -i quota alternate command
Code:
rpm -ihv [url]http://gd.tuwien.ac.at/opsys/linux/suse.com/suse/i386/9.1/suse/i586/quota-3.11-22.i586.rpm[/url]

Hi Chatbiz,

I did the installation by "yast -i quota" and quota is installed now.

But how can i startup my system with quota enabled?
I think thats the problem, in the boot en message log i found the message kernel modules not loaded.... is that correct?

Thanks,

JD

I found a solution myself:

If quota is installed in my case i have to do the following manualy:

- Add usrquota to / mounting point in the /etc/fstab

- reboot the system to remount.

- in the sh: quotacheck -cugam

- repquota -a ( to control the quota function).
