How to Install Plesk Anti-Virus -- Dr.Web?

JeffreyZ

Basic Pleskian
I had a problem with antivirus and decided to completely remove it.

The error I was receiving was:
A message with the following attributes was not delivered because it contains an object which cannot be checked by antivirus.

I tried several fixes based on forum suggestions but nothing worked. I decided to completely remove it. My last step was to cancel my subscription payment at the Parallels Store. At which point I discovered Parallels was not able to charge my last due subscription payment. So I was past-due.

So now I have to wonder if the problem that caused the error was the subscription. And instead of getting an email from Parallels saying they couldn't charge my card they just shut it down at which point I got an error message this error message.

The other question I would have is: How would I reinstall Dr.Web? I may also have uninstalled "watchdog" -- is that part of Dr.Web or should that be installed separately?

Watchdog and Parallels Premium Antivirus (what you call drweb) are completely different things. The first one is a monitoring service.

Provided you have Plesk >= 11.5 you should remove and install components via Parallels Installer.

Thanks for your help Nikolay.

I am running 11.5 but don't see Parallels Installer under "Tools and Settings". I see an "add and remove product components" which shows that Parallels Premium Antivirus is installed, although it is not.
