  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved how to reactivate Plesk for root or administrator users?

Amjr

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Almalinux 9.2
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.56
Guys, I'm new and I'm just finishing up the server configuration, but I used the settings below to test them. Now I can't do any more browsing on Plesk, so far so good, but I want to undo the settings and activate them when I'm not using Plesk via root.

now I have this message:

The superuser (root or administrator account) is prohibited to log in to Plesk for security reasons.

Log into Plesk.
Go to Extensions > My Extensions > Panel.ini Editor > Open > Editor.
Note: in case of the Panel.ini Editor is absent in Extensions > My Extensions, install it using the solution from here.

Add the text below at the end of the file:
systemAdmin = false

Press the Save button.

I need to reactivate access to the root or administrator account

You could edit the /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/panel.ini file directly on the Linux shell.

Thank you, just answer me. Would I have to access the server via VNC to make this modification correctly in Linux?
