How to send test emails from Plesk?

Commander

Basic Pleskian
It seems I am not getting any emails from plesk, like scheduled event notifications, ect.

What function of plesk can I run to force it to send an email so I can troubleshoot why I am not getting emails from plesk?

The article seems to talk about MailEnable. But since I am using Smartermail, mailenable is disabled.

I setup the "External SMTP Server Settings" to the settings of my mail server.

So, how can I trace the log for talking to my external SMTP server?

Also, in the "Server Components" it properly lists smartermail as a green circle and that it is installed and set as default emailer. I can also add and remove email account and it works fine configuring smartermail from plesk.

But if I click on the "Mail Server Settings" link, it says this:

Installed mail server: MailService

Is it normal to say "mailservice" instead of "SmarterMail" like every other screen in plesk says?
