how to set the mime type?

Hi
I am one of the users of Plesk control panel provided by the hosting service provider. I am creating a barcode image and displaying it in the browser using c#.net. The code works fine and displays the image. But not the barcode. I understand this is because of unavailability of the particular font in the web server. I have uploaded the font to my webspace and created a mime type for the extension .ttf. I have tried with both application/octet-stream and font/ttf. but both doesnt give me the desired result (it is not working).
Please help me to solve this problem
