• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question How to set up a new MySQL instance in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.21?

jmar83

Regular Pleskian
I need a complete new MySQL in my Plesk Obsidian 18.0.21 (on Ubuntu LTS 18.x) installation.

How can i realize that, so it wont be result in a conflict with existing configuration?

Here, i can see how that works in Windows, but not in Linux:

How to add an additional local MySQL server in Plesk on Windows?

Note: The 2nd MySQL instance, e.g. on port 3307, may be configurable in the plesk GUI, but it's not necessary - just "nice to have"...

Thank you for your feedbacks.

With best regards from Switzerland,
