Resolved How to stop restore (backup)

I've been waiting for my backup to set back (restore of DB, files, mail, setting) since 24hrs now.
Its a very small backup of 51,3 mb. Unfortunately my website is down under while, so i'd like to stop the restore.

How can this be done?

Am using Parallels Plesk Panel 10.0.0

Try to remove corresponding task file from /usr/local/psa/PMM/tasks/

Not sure how to login as root. Is there another way to stop the restoring?

Contact Parallels Support Team in this case. They will find a reason and fix problem.

One more question: I deleted the file. Solved the on going restoring proces. But now my domain is still inactive.
Avtivation through the plesk doenst seem to work.
How to fix that?

stopping tasks

I have a similar issue but want to be 100% sure it is safe to just rm -rf the tasks from

/usr/local/psa/PMM/tasks/

i have 2 tasks in there .. one from january 28 and one from feb 10
both are backups which are just endlessly doing nothing.

[root@w1 tasks]# ls -al
total 12 ***** (I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS BEING 12)**********
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 30 Feb 21 16:21 .
drwxr-xr-x 12 root root 4096 Jan 28 22:40 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1452 Feb 10 11:35 13884
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1394 Jan 28 22:02 18291

perl has been running for over 10 days now and using 100% cpu ..
i am certain this is the feb 10 task as the perl pid is

ps fauxwww | grep 13147
root 13147 94.4 2.9 128576 59336 ? R Feb10 15517:05 \_ /usr/bin/perl /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/plesk_agent_manager server --owner-uid=85b522b3-fa3f-4db8-913b-3465b987d0dc --owner-type=server --description=Server backup.??Creation date: Feb 10, 2012 11:32 AM -vvvv --session-path=/usr/local/psa/PMM/sessions/2012-02-10-113515.344 --output-file=ftp:// MY REMOTE SERVER HERE

thank you for any advice to do this correctly/safely.

Is it reall enought? i think that not. I am the task, and then run another task. these new task is doing the work of the killed task, cause the first was restore config and content, and the second only config.

and the result was that the fist task begins to work when runs the second.

I can´t beleave that there isnt a button to stop the job.

Regards.
