how to upload a website using war file and then modify

pls, can anybody tell me how do i modify my webpages online which are uploaded trough Plesk 8.0 control panel as a war file.

Is it possible to make changes within a war file which is being uploaded,, and make it go live whithout completely replacing a curent war file.

Pls, its urgent.
