  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Howto import unix users into plesk

Hi guys, I need to be able to import mail users from a debian server running postfix, Mail is in /var/spool/mail/username and all the alaises and forwards are in /etc/postfix/virtual. The users are stored as normal unix users.

I need to
1. Import all the users and passwords in to a domain in plesk
2. Import all the alaises and forwards for the users that are in the virtual user table in the domain in plesk
3. Then once migration date/time is set import the mail from /var/spool/mail/username in to the domain in plesk

PS we can either run postfix on plesk first - then change to qmail, but would be good if we can import straight to qmail.

Please all hints suggestions, walk threws needed

Thanks Troy

I asked the exact same question in other forum. This forum structure is not well designed since most post applyto several different versions of plesk.

The result is this incredible lack of answers.

very disappointing for such expensive product.
