• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

can someone explain how to create a secure directory? since plesk10.2 has no httpsdocs directory, i'm at a loss as to how to accomplish this. i don't want the entire website to have https in front of it, just one directory, such that the user types "https://www.domain.com/securedirectory" in the browser, while everything else on the site remains "http://www.domain.com/nonsecuredirectories".

the only things i can find in the documentation start with "go to the websites & domains tab > virtual directories (in the advanced operations group)", but i have no "virtual directories" option in the advanced operations group. everything else in the documentation is about how to buy or implement ssl certificates (already have).

while i'm on the subject of security, is there a way to "convert" a nonprotected directory to protected directory? i have hundreds of directories, deleting half and recreating them all with the manual one-by-one process of creating protected directories, reuploading directory content, etc, would be extremely time consuming.

please help. thanks.

what do i have to do to get someone to help me on this please?

still searching for an answer. parallels defers to hosting service, hosting service defers to parallels. nothing i can find in the documentation. same old same old.
