• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Issue I can load a BIG backup

solucionesuno

Regular Pleskian
With CENTOS 7 Plesk 17.

I have a big backup ( 500GB ) with 100 subscription over NFS folder mounted in a open media value server for backups.

The backsup works fine, but now, i am trygin to load this backup in another empty server.

When I access the backups administrator, I correctly display all my history of incremental backups. https://myserver:8443/admin/backup/restore/

when click on this backup. https://myserver:8443/admin/backup/restore/?type=local&dumpId=backup_info_1702040017.xml

Is really slow in loading subscriptions. And when it ends, it only shows me 10 out of 100. if i reload the page appear 12 of 100... and if reload again appear sometimes 14 of 100 but never all of them.

Restoring a large backup like that one with 500 GB will probably take many hours (estimated six hours at least if FTP can be reached at 1 GBit/s and unpacking the tar archives can be done fast for high cpu speed and low other load), depending on the speed of your FTP link and the server. Subscriptions are restored step by step, so it is possible that you see some but not all after e.g. two hours and see many more after four hours and so on. Could it be possible that this is what you are experiencing?
