if I www. to my site it won't work, but typing in theseniorresource.org it will

When you type in the site into your browser: theseniorresource.org the site comes up. When you type in www.theseniorresource.org nothing happens. I know it has something to do with the DNS but i am stumped. Can someone help a brother out? Thanks!

when you create a new domain there is a checkbox next to the "www" was it checked when creating the domain? Pls check your dns entry for this domain if there is a A record for www

I talked to the support team at mediatemple.net, they said i need to make sure that i have the IP address as a shared IP address so i did.

I'm giving this a try. The www box was checked.

HOWEVER, there is no A record of www.theseniorresource.org just theseniorresource.org ; could that be a problem as well? thanks!

yes, please add a A www record for the domain. I just checked your domain http://www.theseniorresource.org/ and it works fine with the www and without
