• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Import DNS data into Plesk via script?

JorisK

New Pleskian
Hi,

We have an old DNS server with some DNS zones on it, all containing basic DNS data and we would like to migrate it to Plesk DNS. We have two Plesk Panel 11 servers and one Plesk Automation server.

We have an export of all DNS data in CSV format and we would like to know if there is a way to automate its import and if not, does Plesk offer services to create a script that does this? We don't care if its paid.

I think it's an easy thing to do for someone with php knowledge but unfortunately I don't have that knowledge.

Many thanks!

Regards,
Joris Kemperman

No, it is just possible workaround with using different Plesk command line utilities.
