• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Importing MYSQL database tables

I have happily ceated my database locally which works fine.

I am now trying to get it onto my server using Plesk and the MyPHPadmin tool to import it.

The import failed.

I then tried to import just selected tables and it begun to work fine.

I am now left with just 1 table that will not import. It is the table from my forum that includes all the post attachments so is quite large.

Can anybody give me some guidance on what might be wrong. The file is about 100mb is that an issue for instance ??

many thanks
Jason

Use the MySQL shell and try something like:

$ mysql -u [user] -p --verbose [database] < [sql script]

But this to import all at the same time, not just one table.

Is there a way of connecting to my database from my desktop verson of MySQL admin rather than having to use Plesk ??

Sure, use something like SQLYog or the MySQL GUI. Or SSH remotely and restore.
