  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

TITLE:
Inconsistent behavior in Language switching with modules
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:
Product version: Plesk Onyx 17.8.11 Update #54
Update date: 2019/05/26 01:18
Build date: 2019/05/16 07:25
OS version: CentOS 7.6.1810
Revision: 161ebcd802c2e9a1feeef25c9264230f4aa68ea6
Architecture: 64-bit
Wrapper version: 1.2
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When you choose a language for a user and then go navigate everywhere without issues, but when you change the language again to another, things looks normal at the Plesk core main functionalities until you navigate to any module (git-ruby-lets_encrypt-AVImunfy etc.)

After some working hours on this issue, the temporary fix is by creating more than 1 subscription to allow things to get back at normal. (display the correct language from the modules page)

I'm still surprised that no results from the forum search for slimier issue.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1- Install new server (optional)
2- Create a customer (Test Customer) with a user (test1)
3- Create 1 subscriptions with 2 domain (domain.com/domain.net) (dom1/dom2) systemusers
4- Login by the customer user (test1) from incognito browser
5- You'll see the main language En.
6- navigate to the user upper right > edit profile.
7-change the language to any language in the list.
8- navigate back to the main page (everything works fine even with modules)
9- go back to the profile an change the language back to english (or any language)
10- Navigate between modules and Plesk main page or anywhere.
ACTUAL RESULT:
Inconsistent language switching between Plesk and modules.
EXPECTED RESULT:
Same language for every page.
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This is a fresh Plesk install to excludes any doubts.
Tested on : Firefox/Chrome
Browser Cache: disabled by Dev tools.
YOUR EXPECTATIONS FROM PLESK SERVICE TEAM:
Confirm bug

Hello,
Thank you for reporting the issue! It is caused by cached left menu and is resolved in Plesk 18.0.

Plesk Obsidian 18.0 ?
or
Plesk Katya 18.0? Wait What!

If this issue is fixed, can you give us a fix or workaround for 17.8 and earlier.?

Thanks :)

Plesk Obsidian 18.0 as far as I know :)
The only workaround that can be suggested here is to log off after changing profile language and log in again.
