index won't update

i deleted my old index.html and currently have a new one, but the one i used before is still the one that shows up. i even deleted the pictures from that site through the file manager and they can still be seen when you go to the site.

how can i get the new index.html to be the one that the site uses?

...and what exactely does it have to do with Plesk?

Within browser, press Ctrl + F5
