Installation on SLES10 x86_64 fails

I am trying to install Plesk Panel 9.2.3 for Linux on SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 x86_64. When the installer gets to the point of installing packages, it looks like it is trying to install prerequisites from the SLES install disk, and fails. The disk is in the drive and available. What is the correct procedure for this? Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am completely new to Plesk, and evaluating it before purchasing, so I could use any assistance that someone could provide.

Did you tried to use this Autoinstaller http://download1.parallels.com/Ples...ler_v3.5.0_build090817.16_os_SuSE_es10_x86_64 ? Also make sure that you have selected your DVD drive as packages source in Yast.

Thanks for our reply. Yes, I am attempting to use the installer that you linked to, and I do have the installation DVD listed as a source in Yast. I have verified that I can install software for the DVD. For example, I can type "zypper install <package>", or I can go to "software management" in Yast and install software from the DVD. What method is the installer using to resolve its dependencies and trigger the install from the installation DVD?
I have pasted the error output at the bottom of this message. As you can see, the failure is on installing "apache2-mod_python-3.1.3-60.2.x86_64" - if I try to do an "rpm -ivh" on that package, it complains that the apache2 package from the install DVD is not present. However, I can readily install it by doing "zypper install apache2"
If I do this, then it just moves on to the next package that has a dependency and fails. I would like to know if there is something more that I need to do to make the installer know how to install from the installation DVD. Obviously, if it is just doing an rpm -i and expecting them to be installed, that will never work.
Any ideas? is there a log being written somewhere that I should look at?

Did you performed this important recommendation from Release notes:

IMPORTANT:
If you are using an operating system from SUSE family: Before installing Parallels Plesk Panel, switch the AppArmor service off using the command '/etc/init.d/boot.apparmor stop' and remove it from start-up list by 'chkconfig --del boot.apparmor stop'

Yes, Apparmor is disabled as described in the release notes. It makes no difference, though, it will fail the same way with it turned on or off. I'm still wondering if this has something to do with whatever method it is using to install the packages, and if there is a log somewhere?

I have been able to get this to work as a test installation on a CentOS 5.4 x86_64 system, but I need to be able to get it installed on a SLES 10 system. I was hoping that the 9.3.0 release would support SUSE Linux Enterprise 11, but it looks like that is not the case.

Anyway, any additional thoughts on getting it going on SUSE?

I can suggest you try to download full package http://download1.parallels.com/Ples...3.0-sles10.build93091016.15.x86_64.rpm.tar.gz unpack it and install as usual rpm packages.
