• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi there,

We run an RedHat Ent 4 server with Plesk Reload 7.5 (patched upto build75051115.01 )

Now we're trying to use te web-based update module to get up to the lastest patch...

However, it doesn't work

The e-mailed report shows following error....

----------------------------
Installing selinux-policy-targeted-sources-1.17.30-2.52.1.noarch.rpm
depend only package e2fsprogs installed
depend only package libselinux installed
depend only package info installed
error: Failed dependencies:
selinux-policy-targeted = 1.17.30-2.52.1 is needed by selinux-policy-targeted-sources-1.17.30-2.52.1.noarch
----------------------------

Any good suggestions ?
Simply install the sources rpm ?

Shouldn't do it automatically ?

Happy to hear!

Brgds,

I run into the same problem with Centos4.2. This patch of Plesk installs Selinux rules that needs selinux-policy-targeted-sources . If you don't have them already installed Plesk downloads the latest version (U3). I guess you haven't updated your server to U3 already. You can download and install the U2 version of selinux-policy-targeted-sources (selinux-policy-targeted-sources-1.17.30-2.110.noarch.rpm) manually or update RHEL4 first to U3 and then update Plesk.

to install Plesk on CentOS4 use the RHEL4 Plesk packages and edit /etc/redhat-release to read "RedHat Enterprise Linux 4" instead of the Centos string.

Eilko,

do you mean to update the plesk updater to 3.0 manually ?
Or install the sources file using rpm ?

I did update Red Hat E4 to the latest patch (march 2006 release )

Thanks,

Maarten

make sure your system is uptodate

make sure
selinux-policy-targeted-1.17.30-2.126 and
selinux-policy-targeted-sources-1.17.30-2.126
are installed

run the updater again from the control panel.
