Installing yum (popt problems)

I was trying to install yum on my Fedora server with Plesk but ran into some issues while resolving the dependencies. It seems that yum needs rpm-python, which of course needs RPM, which needs a certain version of popt. The version of popt I have I think is custom, the file extension is .swsoft, and it is newer that the one that RPM wants. Should I just replace it with the old one, or will this totally kill Plesk?

yeah, thats virtuozzo, they're using some wierd version of that package.

Youve got to replace those packages with the the compatible ones

You're asking the #1 proponent of yum in the PSA world, and the maintainer of the #1 3rd party PSA yum archive if you should use yum?

I recommend that you use yum
