Interesting AWSTATS issue..

OK well after alot of tracking I found out that if you specify SSL support for a domain which is assigned to a shared IP, AW-STATS is not accessible from PLESK web-stats button. It has to do with the http.include file settings for the domain which instead of using ONLY ALIAS directives it also uses REDIRECT PERMINENT directives which prevent the pafges from being loaded in a browser.

I though I would share this incase there is someone out there pulling thier hair out like I was for a while.
