Resolved Ioncube loader

cyberfunk

New Pleskian
Resources online state that the latest version of Plesk takes care of Ioncube loader for PHP.

I had already updated Plesk to the latest version.

Softaculous extension would not install because it couldn't see the Ioncube laoder as being enabled.
It would still couldn't see Ioncube loader after manually attempting to install it for both PHP versions 7.2 AND 7.3.
It would also tell me that the curl extension wasn't installed for PHP which I also took care of manually without any results other than a broken softaculous install.

It was nice knowing that my Plesk installation wasn't corrupt until now. Not only would I like to have Ioncube laoder enabled, I hope this Plesk install isn't broken and likely to cause issues in the future.

What's frustrating is that in WHM/cPanel, it's as simple as flicking a switch. Or - Ioncube being enabled by default which is supposed to be the case in the latest version of Plesk however in my findings, apparently not. This is all on a fresh installation of Plesk via GCP's deployment manager.

Any advice or support for this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ok, I see the switch for ioncube loader...
It was on during installation of softaculous anyway and still failed.

Anyway, what's the best way to remove my broken install of the softaculous extension?

Thanks again.
