Question IONOS web site does not reply to Ping

Ubuntu 22.04

Plesk version and microupdate number

Plesk Obsidian 18.0.75

I have two cloud VPS servers with IONOS and I am in the process of transferring 3 sites and a mail server from one server to the other.
When I ping the IP address I get a reply repeating the IP address but then 4 lines of request timed out.
If I ping the site name xyz.org I get xyz.org [IP address] and then 4 lines of request timed out

Using the same W11 PC I can ping all the sites on the first cloud server and the DNS entries are compatible.

The web site itself works fine. It is just the ping.

Any ideas please?

Hi, @dubnachris . If I am not mistaken, IONOS does block ICMP replies by default and you need to manually create a firewall rule to allow incoming pings. I hope that helps:
