  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

When setting up plesk 10 it automatically sets the IP as exclusive, but i want it as shared. How do i do this?

Go to Server Management -> Tools & Utilities -> IP Addresses and configure your IPs as you want.

I don't have a "Server Management" option.

When I login as the admin, it logs me in as an end-user.

I have setup the vps about 15 times now, each time with the correct admin password.
It even says, Welcome Admin

How do I login as admin?

This is just ridiculous.

I setup admin account, login, then I'm the end-user.
If I can't get this fixed within the next few hours I'm going back to cPanel or DirectAdmin.

Tried it again, i'm even more annoyed now...

Logging in as root.
Plesk asks for contact info.
The it goes into end-user mode.
I don't see "resellers", I don't see "clients".

I'm going to at kloxo control panel now because noo-ne seems to be helping anymore.

You can find Plesk admin's password with

cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow

I know what the admin password is, my point is it doesn't work.

Please after re-installing plesk again i now get error 500.

I gave up altogether and installed webmin.

For the record, the shadow file mathes the password I am using to login with.
