In the documentation there are options only for Windows and Mac OS:

I use Ubuntu 16 as Desktop and have no Problems.

I use it on Plesk 12 as well. But in Plesk 12.5 I did not test.
But if it is possible, it should be added in the documentation.

It is possible to access Plesk 12.5 from the Mozilla browser even under FreeBSD or other exotic OSes.
We pointed out the most commonly used operating systems, and it makes no sense to specify everything, including exotic.
