• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello all! I will probably buy PLESK 8.0 for my debian server, but i have a question. Is is possible to change the folder of a domain/subdomain?

Ex : put domain.tld in /home/mydomain, put forum.domain.tld in /home/other/folder/forum, etc etc?

Or does plesk create the folder itself?

Same question for the ftp users :p?

Thanks for all!

Plesk will create the /var/www/vhost/domain.com folder..

Plesk actually used to use /home/httpd/vhosts/ as it's virtual directory, but changed it to /var/www to conform with the latest standards.

Is it the same answer for subdomains? It create a folder too? Where?

in : /var/www/vhost/sub.domain.com
or in : /var/www/vhost/domain.com/sub

or other?

Is there any addon to authorize user to change the path?

Thanks!
