  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Is there a date for a 12.1 update?

There are lots of great changes in 12.1 like incremental backup and advanced database functions and also MySQL 5.6 out of the box support. I am curious. It's been like 6 months since the preview is open to the public. Is there a specific date for us to know when it's going to be safe to upgrade our Plesk 12 installations?

Thank you. The preview will continue as we have much more to deliver.
We are not telling dates until very close to the release day. We are not "very close" yet :)

I was looking forward to the MySQL 5.6 support. I guess you're not considering the option of upgrading MySql 5.6 within the installation in version 12, and we'll have to wait for 12.1 for that?
