  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Is this a memory leak?

Hi,

First.. I dont say Plesk have a memory leak. I only look for help to find a solution what here happen. :)
I have installed MRTG to monitoring memory, ram and so on...

I have a root server with Plesk11.5 and only one active domain with a very small forum. Thats all.

You can see, the available memory is a little less every day. The "cached"-memory go higher and higher.

The forum worked fine on another server (without plesk). So I think is not the forum software.

I use centOS6
Mysql Server 5.5.33
PHP 5.3.27
Plesk 11.5.30#21

Can anybody help me here?

EDIT: free -m:

16GB cache ist (in my eyes) very high for only a very small forum. I can only think that plesk create new files(or so) and linux cache this files and the cache grow up?

I am almost sure, that Plesk is not guilty here. You can check IO with usual linux tools to find guilty process.

I have deactivate drWeb and SpamAssassin since 3 days and the memory consumption seems normal now. "free -m" shows "5733" cached. I will continue to look at it :)
