My hosting company has started to migrate clients to Plesk. We have a number of clients using Small Business Server 2000 with ISA Server. They are unable to log in to the control panel through expand. We need full instructions how to configure ISA server to permit login. The hposting company can go no further than saying you need to open ports 8442 and 8443

If port 8442 and 8443 are correctly opened then that should be all you need to do with your firewall to permit login.

Whilst there is a protocol definition for the ports when checked with

    netstat -na

    they do not appear.

We need to know specifically how to configure ISA.

    ISA Sever 2000

The seems to be. Create a VB script in notepad or the like

    set isa=CreateObject("FPC.Root")
    set tprange=isa.Arrays.GetContainingArray.ArrayPolicy.WebProxy.TunnelPortRanges
    set tmp=tprange.AddRange("SSL 8442", 8442, 8443)

save it as something like plesk.vbs
the .vbs is the imporant bit

double click it to run it (on the server)

Restart ISA server. Administrative Tools, Services, Microsoft ISA server, Restart
