Extension catalog primary action button describes pricing instead of action
**Product:** Plesk Obsidian
**Version:** 18.0.77.2
**Area:** UI / Extensions Catalog
**Note:** Observed in German localization. Button label is "Kostenlos nutzen". The issue is likely present in other localizations with equivalent phrasing.
Description
The primary action button in the Extensions catalog describes the pricing model of the extension rather than the action it performs. Clicking the button does not deploy or activate the extension. It downloads the extension package into Plesk's local registry. Deployment is a separate subsequent step. The button label does not communicate this distinction.
Steps to reproduce
1. Log in as admin.
2. Navigate to Extensions via the sidebar.
3. Open any extension in the catalog.
4. Observe the primary action button labeled "Kostenlos nutzen" (free to use) for free extensions.
5. Note that the label answers "what does this cost" rather than "what does this button do".
Expected behavior
The button should describe the action it performs. "Download" accurately reflects the operation. "Download free" communicates both action and cost model without ambiguity.
Actual behavior
The label "Kostenlos nutzen" communicates pricing only. No tooltip or secondary text clarifies that no immediate deployment will occur.
Impact
Confuses and delays user action. For paid extensions, imprecise labeling at the acquisition step is likely to cause measurable drop-off.
