  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Issues with Mail server after reinstall

Sebastian Zoller

New Pleskian
Hey guys,

after having issues with mails bounced back from gmail, gmx, aol etc. because of "multiple 'from' headers", i've read that I should try to reinstall postfix by switching to qmail and back to postfix.

I did that, installation went fine, now the field for installed mail server is empty:

Opening the mail queue shows me the following error:

I also cannot connect via webmail to the postboxes, so I think, there is really something wrong and I do not know how to fix that.

And the mails are still bounced back, so it did not really help...

You can try "Tools & Settings" > "Server Components" > "Refresh". Then go to "Tools & Settings" > "Mail Server Settings" and update/store the settings. Afterwards the mail settings should be available again.
