• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Keeping DNS records while switching from slave mode to master mode

Hello,

My Plesk is actually acting as slave dns server on several domains and i'm going to make it act as master one.

I made tests and i discovered that doing that, all my records (plesk got while in slave mode) are ignored and template records are generated.

That's a bit stupid, because the purpose of becoming master is to replace the original master, for example, in case of failure on the master... so if records are lost while changing mode...

In fact i think it should keep the records, but it doesn't.... maybe i missed something...

If anyone has any idea... please let me know....

Regards
