  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Let's Encrypt certificate installation failure

Ian Hsieh

New Pleskian
Hi there,
When I tried to install Let's Encrypt certificate for one of my sites through the Plesk extension, I got this error message.
------------------------------------------------------------
Error: Let's Encrypt SSL certificate installation failed: Assign certificate failure: Unable to update hosting preferences. Could not load file or assembly 'psa.idna, Version=12.5.30.28995, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

(Error code 1)

After that, it seems like a certificate was created, but it doesn't work. What does this error message mean? What should I do to fix this?

Thanks.
