    Hello everybody!

We have been using Plesk Expand for the last 7 Year (or so) and would now (finally) like to move to PPA, to have a "modern" centralized hosting environment.
We currently have unlimited Plesk Licensed (not leased) for our hosting servers and our central mailserver, these will work with PPA right?

Thanks a lot and best regards,

    Christian

    Hello CryoGenID!

I think the PPA license is free but to have the CBM it's like $14.99 but you'll have to add a plesk license key to the management node. I had no problems using my existing plesk license to it. I was surprised how easy it was to transfer my data from my old server over to PPA. Trust me if I could do it you could, I'm a newb :) oh wait nm not sure about the licensed key, I think I read some where it has to be leased? But I'm just another newb in the cesspool :) I dont know much... but learning :)

I found a page related to expand...

    Happy Holidays :)

    Thanks for your reply!

Well so I can throw my expensive "Unlimited" licenses away if I want to use PPA?

That cannot really be true, can it? :-(

Please would somebody from Parallels confirm this and explain to my why I should throw that much money away?
(We Expand customers were always promised a new solution to which we could switch, but you cannot seriously
mean that we simply have to throw our licenses away, do you?)

Thanks a lot for the clarification!

    Best regards,

    Christian

    Hi, guys,
    Happy New Year.
I am forwarding your posts to have somebody from our Marketing/Sales to come up with the procedure of handling the existing perpetual licenses.

    Thanks,

    Hello Andrey,

    thanks a lot!
We are really eager to upgrade to PPA and hopefully a solution can be found that we "old" customers can
simply use our bought licences and only need to buy leased ones for new servers...

    Best regards,

    Chris
