TITLE:
Log files are not accumulating after 17.8.11 upgrade
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:Plesk 17.8.11 running on CentOS 6.9
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:After updating from the previous release, I have noticed that the access_log.processed and access_ssl_log.processed log files are no longer accumulating the data from the previous day. Instead, the files are being replaced by the previous day's access_log or access_ssl_log files. I have noticed this behavior on both a dedicated server and on VMs.
This is quite undesirable as any previous day's logs are getting lost on a daily basis, making it impossible to locate evidence of unwanted activity on the website on a previous day.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:This is quite undesirable as any previous day's logs are getting lost on a daily basis, making it impossible to locate evidence of unwanted activity on the website on a previous day.
Just check your log files.
ACTUAL RESULT:Logs not accumulating
EXPECTED RESULT:Logs accumulating
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:It doesn't seem to matter whether AWstats or the Webilizer are in use.
